How to be black: boy

be victim.
always be victim.
dance like u run from cops
how u victim and perpetrator?
feel palm grab earth,
fingernails take root like poplar
u were born to go into this ground
lived to cry.
came into world, tears replacing eye
wail replacing throat
blood replacing skin,
u will leave the world the same way.
in last moment, think,
who will bury ur mama?
